Anyone who ever wanted to help animals in need have probably considered fostering. Shelters and rescues all over the world are always on the lookout for people who'd like to provide a foster home for their pets. But while it's the most altruistic reason, it's not the only one to consider fostering a dog; and it's not as difficult as some might think.
Some pet owners who would otherwise consider foster a pet are often afraid of the process and see it as much too troublesome. There are some misconceptions that a dog is likely to require special veterinary care, training or will have behavioral issues, which is rarely the case. To explain this better, I talked to Simone Hurst from Dogwatch UK who gave us plenty more details on fostering a dog and what we should know.
