Review: VX Pet Magic Electromagnetic Therapy Device

Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) devices have been used to treat humans for many years. More recently, it has been used in the field of veterinary medicine. The VX Pet Magic is brining PEMF technology to pet owners in the form of a convenient, handheld device.

According to PulseCenters.com, “by inducing a mild electrical magnetic current into damaged cells, PEMF therapy slows or stops the release of pain and inflammatory mediators, increases blood flow of the cells, and re-establishes normal cell interaction. With reduced inflammation, pain decreases, energy increases, and faster tissue healing occurs.

When I first heard about the benefits of PEMF therapy for dogs, I immediately became intrigued. If you've read my articles in the past, you know that I opt for natural remedies over traditional western medicine whenever possible. Through my research on PEMF for pets, I came across a company that has developed a handheld device for pet owners to use for at-home treatments – VX Pet Magic.

The company did a crowdfunding campaign to get their product to market, and it was fully funded in less than 24 hours! I did the research and found a convenient product, so the only thing left was to test it out and see if this technology would actually allow me to take better care of my pets.

VX Pet Magic Review

VX Pet MagicIf you're thinking about an alternative treatment option for your pet, I encourage you to look for scientific research and studies on the internet. A lot of alternative options, like electromagnetic treatments, have been used for decades and you've probably never heard of them.

These options aren't as readily available and tend to be more expensive than their Western medicine counterparts. You may be surprised to discover that some of these treatments options are less invasive, safer for your pet and just as effective as surgery, pharmaceuticals or over-the-counter medications.

PEMF has been proven to be an effective treatment for pain, inflammation and wound healing. It can help pets that are recovering from an injury or healing after surgery. It's also been shown to be a successful treatment option for arthritis, hip dysplasia and has even been used to treat certain types of cancer.

As you will see in my video above, my dog hurt his leg and wasn't able to walk on it. My dog, Joey, tried to jump over the side of a set of stairs. His leg didn't quite clear the top step. His foot got caught on the step, which pulled his leg backwards as he was jumping.

I don't know if it pulled a muscle, hyperextended his leg or damaged one of the tendons or ligaments in his leg. I called the vet, but because he wasn't in noticeable pain they couldn't get him to be seen for 3 days thanks to the restrictions caused by the current pandemic.

I thought this would be the perfect time to test out the VX Pet Magic device.

The device is rechargeable. It runs in 15-minute cycles with a countdown timer, so you know how much time you have left. The company recommends using it for 15-30 minutes twice a day. They recommend using it for 7-10 days for an injury, but it can also be used daily for chronic conditions.

I used the VX Pet Magic on Joey's leg for 30 minutes twice a day. After three days, I noticed that he was putting some weight on his leg. He was still limping, but he wasn't holding his leg up all the time like he was when he was first injured.

After 7 days, it seemed like he was walking normally again. He seemed to be 100% weight bearing all of the time. I continued to use the device for the full 10 days, just to make sure that his leg was completely back to normal.

You can see the change in my video review above. The first part of the video was recorded on day 1, and the last part was recorded on day 10. I still brought Joey to the vet and had him checked out. After running many tests and doing some scans, I am happy to report that they didn't find anything wrong his leg.

The best thing about PEMF technology is that it is non-invasive and there are no side effects. You could use the VX Pet Magic 5 times per day, and it wouldn't do any harm to your dog. The benefits wouldn't be any greater than when using it 2 times per day, but you wouldn't have to worry about any dangerous side effects.

It's easy to use, effective, non-invasive and there are no side effects. The only drawback that I can see is the cost. The cost for the crowdfunding event was $299, and the company mentioned that the regular price of the device will likely be $500!

That's a price tag that certainly won't fit into everyone's budget. However, it's a high quality product that will last for many years. Plus, it's safe to use on humans and animals!

It would likely save you money in the long run, because you may not have to buy expensive prescription medications or pay for costly medical procedures. If you can afford it, I do think product would be a good value for the money and would probably pay for itself within a couple of years.
