Nothing is more appetizing to dogs than meat. These turkey jerky dog treats are sure to tempt even the pickiest dogs’ taste buds.

With just 3 ingredients, these treats would also be a great option for pets with allergies or stomach sensitivities.

Ingredients

Scale
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup diced parsley
  • 1 lb. leftover turkey meat

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 250 degrees Fahrenheit.

Slice the turkey into thin strips. They should be about 1/4″ thick. The thicker you slice them, the longer it will take to dehydrate them.

Place the turkey strips in a large bowl, and pour the oil over the top of them. Sprinkle the parsley over the oil.

Shake or mix or until the turkey is evenly coated with the oil and parsley.

Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil, and place strips on it. Bake in your 250 degree oven for about 2 hours. The strips are done when they are crispy and crunchy.

Allow the strips to cool completely before serving them to your dog.
