This is a safe and healthy recipe that is made with human-grade ingredients. Not only can you feed it to your dogs, you could even eat it too!

This is a very simple recipe to make. The prep work is the hardest part.

If you’d like to use a different protein source, just choose a protein that your dog enjoys and cut it into small chunks about the size of a penny. Prep for this recipe usually takes me about 10 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound white meat turkey
  • 3 cups cooked brown rice
  • 3 hard boiled eggs
  • 1 large sweet potato
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • ¼ cup dried cranberries
  • ⅛ cup parsley
  • 3 sage leaves (diced)
  • 1.5 tbsp. rosemary
  • 1.5 tbsp. fish oil

Instructions

Cook the turkey however you like. You can use leftover turkey from a recent meal or prepare ground turkey by frying it in a pan.

Cook the rice according to the instructions on the packaging. Boil or bake the sweet potato. You do not need to peel the potato, as many of the nutrients are found in the skin.

Once you’ve prepared these first ingredients, combine the cooked ingredients with all other ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Stir until everything is evenly combined.

Once all of the ingredients have cooled, you can feed this turkey dinner for dogs to your pet.
