The company only uses real meat, fish, and poultry in their pet foods. They do not use any meals or by-products. Plus, their foods are fortified with green peas, whole chickpeas, and eggs for added protein.

Their foods are also wheat, corn, and soy-free and they also don’t use any tapioca, white or brown rice, or potato starch, ingredients that are typically found in other no wheat, no corn, no soy dog foods.

Spring Naturals is a family-owned firm that has been in operation since 1946. The company backs all of its products with a 100% satisfaction guarantee.

In 2014 Spring Naturals dog food was certified Low Glycemic and Diabetic Friendly by the Glycemic Research Institute, making it the first dry kibble to earn this recognition in the United States.

The company believed that RPAL was more than deserving of its donation. The adoption league is based in Dallas and provides pet food and other products and supplies to more than 100 animal shelters and rescues in Texas. Together with the shelters that they support help over 7,000 dogs, cats, and ferrets every day.

The donation that Spring Naturals made is equivalent to over 7,000 26-pound bags of Spring Naturals dog food. That’s a value of nearly $225,000. It is expected to feed more than 5,000 dogs for an entire month. Judy Griggs, a representative for RPAL, says that the organization was blown away by the generosity of the folks at Spring Naturals.

RPAL’s members need about 1,212,530 pounds of dog and cat food every year. That equals about $702,625.00 worth of pet food annually. The team at RPAL works to fulfill this need by providing members with a variety of purchased and donated pet food.

It is passed on to their members either free of charge or at a highly discounted price. They acquire these products through their established relationships with manufacturers and distributors across the country.
