I wanted to see how well they worked in comparison, how the ingredients compare to those in grooming wipes, and whether or not they were affordable for pet owners on a budget. As I demonstrate in my video guide above, these mittens are made with water-activated dry shampoo. The more water you add, the more suds you'll get. If you've run out of suds in the middle of grooming your dog, simply add more water and keep cleaning.
I can use one mitten to clean our 70-pound Labrador. So, I'd definitely say these grooming mittens are suitable for large breeds.
Scrubby Instant Bath Mittens are hypoallergenic and pH balanced at 5.5 to be gentle on your pup's skin and coat. The company even recommends using them on pets with sensitive skin.
The mittens measure 9.5″L x 5.75″W, so they can be used on any size dog. The mitten is a 100% polyester sponge. They are designed in the United States but made in Israel.
The company says that these wipes are suitable for any pet, including:

While SrubbyPet says their bath mittens are fragrance-free and safe for all pets, some of these ingredients worry me. It's important to do research on the ingredients in your dog's grooming products. Some of the most common grooming product ingredients can actually do more harm than good.
According to ewg.org, Sodium Laureth Sulfate is “used as a surfactant and may be contaminated with potentially toxic manufacturing impurities,” and Cocamidopropyl Betaine “is a surfactant; it has been associated with irritation and allergic contact dermatitis.” C142090 is an artificial coloring agent.
Another drawback to these mittens is that they are disposable, meaning they are not eco-friendly. However, each mitten can be used for 10-12 baths! The convenience of Scrubby Instant Bath Mittens is ideal if you'd like to take them along while hiking, traveling, camping, etc… They are also great to keep in the car when riding with your pooch.
You can purchase a package of 5 mittens on Amazon for $7.99. You can also get a 10-pack for $12.99 or a 15-pack for $17.99. While they are disposable, they can be used multiple times. In my opinion, they are a good value for the money.
