Subscription boxes are becoming more popular by the day.
Because there are so many options available, many pet owners are confused about which box is right for their pet.
In this review, I'll tell you what to expect inside the Pooch Perks dog subscription box, how much it will cost you to subscribe, and everything you need to know to decide if this is the right thing for your pup.
If you are still on the fence about whether or not a subscription box will be a good investment, take a look at a few of the benefits they offer:
- toys, treats, and accessories are delivered automatically – no shopping is required
- the value of the contents is less than the price you pay monthly
- ability to customize the toys and treats for your dog's needs
The convenience of these dog subscription boxes is the biggest draw for most pet owners.
Likewise, some dog subscription boxes offer great value for the money spent.
Is the Pooch Perks Dog Subscription Box one of these, and is it worth subscribing to?
To answer this, I've done an extensive review of the video above and written out more important details for you below.

Pooch Perks Dog Subscription Box Review
The Pooch Perks dog subscription box includes 2 to 3 toys and 2 treats every month.
There are also options for a toy-only or treat-only box.
If you choose these, you'll get 3 toys/treats in every box.
The Pooch Perks is similar to other dog subscription boxes in some ways but has a few of its unique features.
The treats provided in these boxes by Pooch Perks are all-natural and made in the USA.
That means no worries about receiving treats made with ingredients from China or other unsafe countries.
You can also choose the products that are included in the box based on your dog's:
- size
- allergies
- toy durability needs
While you can select more durable toys, the Pooch Perks dog subscription box is not suitable for aggressive or power chewers.
If you have a tough chewer, you're better off looking for a subscription box that is specifically geared towards these types of dogs.
You can also choose to have the boxes delivered monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly.
This is a great option for houses with multiple dogs that go through more toys and treats than single-dog homes.
It's also nice if you have a dog that doesn't go through as many treats or toys, and you don't think you'll use all of the products within a month's time.
The prices vary depending on the size of your dog and the preferences you choose. You can get a Pooch Perks dog subscription box for as low as $33.99 per month.
The box I received was for a large dog with no allergies or chewing preferences.
You can sign up for Pooch Perks on their website. The cost for a dog box like the one I show in my video review above is:
- $33.99 for a 1-month subscription
- $101.97 for a 3-month subscription
- $203.94 for a 6-month subscription
- $407.88 for a 12-month subscription
They also charge $5 per month for shipping. There is also an option to include an extra toy in your Pooch Perks box for an additional $7.99 per month.
While it isn't the dog subscription box that offers the best value, it's not the most expensive either.
I do like the fact that you have the option to choose either just treats or just toys.
We don't feed our dogs a lot of commercial treats, so I appreciate the option just to receive toys.
All-in-all, this box offers an average value for the price and includes healthy treats and safe toys.
It's not suitable for power chewers, but it does offer an option to include toys that are more durable than traditional plush dog toys.
