You can certainly try home remedies to get rid of a dog ear infection, but your veterinarian can also prescribe an antibiotic that will get rid of the problem in a jiffy.

Don’t wait too long to call your veterinarian. If the ear infection doesn’t seem to be getting better within 48 hours, you need to contact your vet immediately.

Waiting too long to seek treatment could leave your dog with a hearing impairment.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound lean ground turkey
  • 2 oz beef liver (chopped)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup kale (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup broccoli (chopped)
  • ½ cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 2 tsp turmeric
  • 2 tsp diced garlic
  • 2 tsp ginger
  • 2 tsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp kelp powder

Instructions

In a large frying pan, melt the coconut oil. Cook the ground turkey and beef liver.

Add the eggs and stir until they are cooked through. Add the rest of the ingredients, and cook over medium heat for another 10 minutes.

Once the food has cooled, you can serve it to your dog.
