Dog subscription boxes offer a lot of advantages, but some pet owners worry that they don't provide products that will be suitable for their dogs.
The PupJoy dog subscription box offers more customization options than any other similar box.
I'll explain the many options you have with this box and what you can expect to find in the monthly deliveries.
When you're looking at the dozens of dog subscription boxes available, there are many factors that you need to consider:
- Are the products safe and healthy?
- Will you/your dog use the products?
- Will the products be suitable for your dog's chewing type and health needs?
There is no sense in spending money on a dog subscription box that contains products you're not going to use.
Likewise, if the toys won't be durable enough for your pooch, why bother?
Does your dog have allergies or digestive sensitivities? You better make sure the box you purchase can cater to those needs!
So, will the PupJoy Dog Subscription Box meet your needs?
Let's take a look at all the customization options available, and I'll let you know if this box will fit into your monthly budget.
PupJoy Dog Subscription Box Review
Not only will you get to make a lot of specifications about your dog's wants/needs, but you will also be happy to know that you're going to receive high-quality products.
In every PupJoy dog subscription box, you will find 2 full-size bags of limited-ingredient treats, 2 artisan-quality toys and 1 all-natural chew.
Every month, you'll receive about $45 worth of products.
There is also an option to order a Grande Box with an extra bag of treats and a second chew.
This option is ideal for multi-dog families and pet owners who have large dogs with a big appetite, and in some ways, similar to other dog subscription boxes out there.
So, what customization options are there?
My favorite option is the ability to choose a box with all toys or all treats.
I make homemade treats for my dogs, so I would end up giving away the bags of treats to friends or family members.
Likewise, if you have a pet that doesn't really enjoy playing with toys, you have the option to choose a box filled with treats.
There is also an option to select a box for regular or power chewers.
The box that I show in my review is a box for regular chewers.
If you think the toys that I show would be easily destroyed by your pup, the power chewer box would probably be a better bet.
Speaking of treats, you can also select from all-natural, organic, grain-free, and protein-sensitive dog treats.
PupJoy boxes are also customized based on your dog's size. They offer different size options, which include:
- Small
- Medium
- Large
You can also note whether you want to receive all plush toys or a variety of different types of toys.
Finally, you can also choose how often you receive your PupJoy boxes.
They offer monthly, bi-monthly, or quarterly delivery.
Now, I expected that a subscription box that offered so many options — many of which are not offered by any other company — would cost more than most other dog subscription boxes on the market.
Surprisingly, the PupJoy dog subscription box is very reasonably priced.
You can sign up for PupJoy Box on their website.
The subscription prices are quite comparable to similar boxes. The one-time payment prices are:
- $32.99-$34.99 for a 1-month subscription
- $89.99-$95.99 for a 3-month subscription
- $173.99-$185.99 for a 6-month subscription
- $335.99-$359.99 for a 12-month subscription
Shipping is also free for all U.S. locations, but it will cost you $5 extra every month for shipping to Canada.
