Doggy diapers can be extremely useful during certain stages of your pet's life. Whether your puppy is not yet house trained or your senior companion has started having accidents in the house, washable dog diapers are less expensive and more eco-friendly than their disposable counterparts.
Just like diapers made for humans, there are many different styles of dog diapers. The diapers that you need will depend on your dog's age, size and the reason that she has to wear them. You may even end up buying different types of diapers for different situations. No matter what the situation, washable dog diapers are the safest option.
Washable dog diapers are great for pet owners who can clean the soiled diapers easily. If you don't have a washing machine in your home, you may not want to carry a bag full of soiled diapers to the laundromat. If you can hand wash them at home, then washable diapers may still be an option for you.
If you travel frequently with your pet, you may want to have washable, reusable dog diapers on hand at home and disposable diapers available when you're traveling. If you're looking for easily washable and travel-friendly dog diapers, this brand of Pet Parents Diapers may be a good option. I tried them with our Beagle, Molly, and below is my opinion on their quality, fit, sizing options and price.

Pet Parents Washable Dog Diapers Review
As you can see, Molly doesn't mind wearing these diapers at all. Keep in mind that she doesn't typically wear diapers, and it didn't take her long to get used to these at all. I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable these washable dog diapers are!
These diapers claim to be leak-proof, and they do seem to be. Molly isn't used to peeing in a diaper, but I held them under her while she peed outside and caught most of the urine. They never leaked!
I would not recommend leaving any diaper on your dog for a long period of time. Like babies, their diapers need to be changed after an accident. If you use these washable dog diapers appropriately, I do believe they will be leak-proof. However, if your dog has multiple accidents in one of these diapers, they will obviously leak eventually.
Pet Parents washable dog diapers also have a waterproof outer material. The absorbent pad is sewn right into the diaper, so you can wash the entire thing together when it is soiled.
These washable dog diapers are available in 5 sizes to fit dogs with a waist measurement of 4″-35.”
In my video review, I demonstrate how easy it is to put these diapers on your pup. Simply place them under his/her belly and wrap the Velcro strap around his waist. I like that the Velcro doesn't stick to my dog's fur. Some diapers have sticky strips that stick to and pull out your dog's fur.
The Velcro also allows you to get a perfect, secure fit. These washable dog diapers from Pet Parents also feature an elastic tail hole to ensure a perfect, leak-proof fit.
I think one of the reasons that Molly is so comfortable in these diapers is because they are so soft. They are not stiff and uncomfortable like other washable dog diapers. They also don't make an annoying crinkling sound like most disposable dog diapers.
Pet Parents Washable Dog Diapers are available in many colors. You can purchase a 3-pack of these diapers on Amazon for $18-$22, depending on the size that your pooch requires.
If your dog needs to wear diapers every day, you'll likely spend $18-$22 on disposable diapers in just a couple of weeks. I've washed these Pet Parents diapers about 10 times, and they are still just as absorbent as they were when I first got them. They aren't showing any signs of wear yet. For this reason, I think that these washable dog diapers are a great value and a much better option than disposable diapers.
