Ingredients

Scale
  • 2.5 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tbsp. raw honey
  • 1 egg

Instructions

If your dog has allergies, you can substitute rice flour, coconut flour or any other type of flour that is suitable for your dog. You can also substitute 1/2 cup of applesauce for the egg if needed.

Preheat your oven to 350˚ F.

Combine the flour, baking powder and egg in a small mixing bowl. Add the peanut butter, water and honey. I heat the peanut butter in the microwave for about 30 seconds to soften it and make it easier to mix.

You can roll the dough out onto a floured surface and use cookie cutters to make the individual biscuits. I take the easy road and place spoonfuls of the dough on a well-greased cookie sheet. Then I just squish them down with a fork.

Bake the peanut butter dog biscuit treats for about 20 minutes. They will be firm and golden brown when finished.
