Unfortunately, this can be a frustrating task for owners, as many products simply cover the smell with perfumes or chemical odors. Once the cleaning product dries and has a couple of days to air out, the urine smell is back.

Well, for starters, I would recommend that you look for a product that is going to be safe for your pet and all of the members of your family. As you'll see in my video review, this isn't the easiest cleaner to use. First, you'll need to thoroughly clean the area with a towel to remove as much source urine and debris as possible. Then soak the treatment area with warm water and soak up as much water as possible with a towel so that the area to be treated is only slightly damp.
Finally you can pour OdorKlenz Pet Odor Eliminator on the area to be treated. You'll have to spread it around and work it down into the carpet with a sponge, brush, etc… Next, pour clean water over the Odor Eliminator until the area is saturated.
Now, you have to apply pressure to the area. You can press down with a cloth repeatedly, but I found it easier to just lay a cloth over the top and walk back and forth on top of it. You should do this for a few minutes and then you can let the mixture sit on the urine spot for about 15 minutes.
At this time, you can use a clean towel to soak up as much of the cleaner as you can. Once the area is dry, you can vacuum it to remove any residue that may be left behind.
It's certainly not as convenient as the typical spray cleaners that you simply apply and then vacuum off, but I have yet to find one of those that actually works to remove the smell 100%.
It is quite a process, but as with most things, the hard work will pay off. OdorKlenz Urine Eliminator has no fragrance, so it removes the odor without leaving behind overpowering scents.
Depending on the length of time that the urine has been sitting on the carpet or upholstery, you may have to go through this process 2 or 3 times, but the cleaner really does remove the odor.

My favorite thing about OdorKlenz Pet Urine Eliminator (besides the fact that it is effective) is that it is safe for everyone in your home. The ingredients are water, magnesium oxide, magnesium hydroxide, zinc oxide and titanium dioxide.
