My Pet Pail Dog Travel Feeder Review
This travel dog feeder looks like a lunchbox. I love the adorable aesthetic appearance! I chose the grey/pink color, but it is also available in teal/yellow, grey/purple, orange/black and blue/grey.
The entire feeder is made of food safe materials, so you don't have to worry about harmful chemicals leaching into your pup's water or food. As you will see in my video review above, there are two feeders inside the pail that seal closed when you shut the lid.
You can store food and water right in the bowls without having to worry about spills. There are also two 20-ounce removable bottles inside the pail. These bottles have screw-on tops to seal in food and water.
If you take out the smaller bowls (the pink bowls in the photo on the right), there are 2 built-in bowls available to hold a larger amount of food. You can also put ice packs in these built-in bowls and then place the removable bowls back on top. This will allow you to keep raw or homemade dog food cold while traveling.
I love the included collar and leash that come with My Pet Pail. In my video review I demonstrate how the collar becomes the handle of the pail and the leash can become a shoulder strap. If you'd prefer to use your own collar and leash, you can do that too!
There is even a place to put dog poop bags underneath the bowls in this travel feeder. You can pull the bags out through a small hole in the back of the pail.
My favorite thing about My Pet Pail is that you can pop the top off of the pail and use the bottom as a traditional feeder in your home. This is also great if you're bringing your dog along to stay in a hotel or with family/friends while on vacation. The bottom features non-slip rubber to keep the bowls from sliding around while your dog is eating.
My Pet Pail meets airline carry-on requirements and measures 12″L x 6″W x 8″H. You can purchase one on Amazon for $79.95. It's not the cheapest travel feeder on the market, but it's definitely one of the most aesthetically pleasing models I've seen. It's made with quality materials and offers a lot of necessary features. For those reasons, I think this feeder is a good value for the money.
