Home Dog Supplies Reviews Review: Mochi’s Paw Dog Wipes and Waste Bags

Review: Mochi’s Paw Dog Wipes and Waste Bags

Giving your dog a bath isn't always the easiest task. If your pup just has a couple of dirty paws or some mud on his face, it would be much easier to clean him up with grooming wipes. I was drawn to Mochi's Paw products because they claim to be safe, effective, and budget-friendly.

Grooming wipes are an inexpensive piece of grooming supplies that every pet owner should have in their pet care toolkit. As long as you purchase wipes that are safe for your pup, they can be used to clean your dog's face, ears, paws, or any other part of his body.

Keep in mind that grooming wipes are not meant to be a substitution for regular baths. Your dog still needs to have a full bath sometimes, and the grooming schedule that you follow will depend on your pet's coat type and any skin or health conditions that he may have.

I also found some doggy waste bags from Mochi's Paw that caught my eye. The bags are 100% compostable and biodegradable, which is a must for me when shopping for waste bags.

Grooming Wipes

These wipes are about the same size as many other similar products. They measure 6″x7″, which is a good size for small messes. They're made of 100% sustainable bamboo fiber, which is more durable than the cotton material that most similar pet wipes are made from.

This is what initially attracted me to the Mochi's Paw dog wipes in the first place. I love the convenience of having dog grooming wipes on hand, but I hate that many of them rip easily when I'm trying to clean my dog's paws.

Mochi's Paw takes pride in making products that are not only safe for pets and owners but also safe for the environment. The full list of ingredients is purified aqua (water), Vitamin E, aloe barbadensis leaf extract, calendula extract, chamomile flower extract, lemon extract (citric acid), glycerin (moisturizer), polysorbate 20 (preservative), potassium sorbate (preservative), sodium benzoate (preservative).

These wipes are hypoallergenic, making them ideal for pups with sensitive skin. There are no parabens, alcohol, chlorine, sulfates or other harsh chemicals that are commonly found in other commercial dog grooming supplies.

Waste Bags

I've been using biodegradable dog waste bags for many years. I try to do what I can to reduce my carbon footprint, so cutting down the plastic waste from my family is important to me. Many companies are making biodegradable dog waste bags now, and this option from Mochi's Paw is also compostable.

The company says that the bags break down completely in just 90 days!

Sometimes biodegradable bags are not as durable as their plastic counterparts. I was pleased to find out that these bags are durable, leak-proof, and odorless. I don't like waste bags that have a fragrance. I know the fragrance is supposed to cover the odor of the feces, but it just ends up mixing with the odor and making things worse.

As you can see in my video review, the bags measure 9″x13″. They're large enough to clean up after the biggest dogs, but the roll is still small enough to fit into most standard leash bag dispensers.

You can purchase a 70-count container of Mochi's Paw dog wipes on Amazon for $7.99. Both products are comparatively priced with similar products on the market. They're made with safe ingredients, easy to use, and convenient. For these reasons, I believe both the grooming wipes and dog waste bags are a good value for the cost.
