Have you ever seen anyone pushing their dog around in a stroller? Your initial reaction may have been that it seemed quite silly. On the contrary, pet strollers (like the IBIYAYA Lightweight Dog Stroller) can be very helpful for pooches and owners alike.
It's much easier to push your pet around in a stroller than it is to carry him around in a bag or backpack. It's also a lot easier on your dog to ride around than it would be to try to keep up on long walks. When you're shopping for a dog stroller, bigger isn't always better. Keep in mind that you may have to lift the stroller over stairs or curbs, and you may need to take it along while traveling in the car sometimes.
Having a big stroller allows your dog to have more space and probably also features more storage space. However, a larger stroller also means a heavier stroller. It also means that the stroller is going to be bulkier and take up more space when not in use.
So, it's important to find a pet stroller that meets your needs and will also be easy to take along with you on adventures and outings. The IBIYAYA Lightweight Dog Stroller is marketed as one of the smallest strollers on the market. And, it can also hold a dog weighing up to 44 pounds. Is it a quality product? IBIYAYA Lightweight Dog Stroller Review
The first thing I wanted to check out was the overall size of this stroller. Is it one of the smallest strollers on the market? I wouldn't go that far, but it is definitely on the smaller end of the spectrum and it's much lighter than most strollers of an equal size.
Unfolded, the IBIYAYA Lightweight Dog Stroller measures 18.9″W x 29.5″L x 39.5″H. The basket for your dog to ride in is 13″W x 22″L x 21″H. As I mentioned, it can hold a dog weighing 44 pounds, and this pet stroller from IBIYAYA only weighs 13 pounds!
As you'll see in my video above, one of the best things about this stroller is that it easily folds up for convenient storage. This also makes it very easy to bring with you in the car or while traveling.
I demonstrate how the easy-fold mechanism works in my video review. There is a small button that you can slide to the side, and another larger button that you pull into the handle with your fingers. The larger button can not be pulled in unless the small button has been slid to the side, which is a nice safety feature to prevent the stroller from accidentally folding up on your pup.
When the stroller is folded it measures 8.5″W x 17.5″L x 23″H. By pulling up on the handle and keeping your foot on the bar on the bottom of the stroller, you can easily unfold it with one hand as well.

Another great feature is the safety indicators on the side and bottom of the stroller's frame. The one on the side of the stroller indicates when the frame is locked in place and the one on the bottom indicates when the brakes are on/off.
As you'll see in my video review, it's almost spring here in Main. The ground is still a bit frozen, which makes the terrain quite rough. But, you'll also see that our Beagle (Molly) is very comfortable while riding in the IBIYAYA Lightweight Dog Stroller.
It is equipped with a shock-absorbent chassis for added comfort. There is also a thin removable pad on the bottom of the basket to add a little padding for your pooch. This dog stroller is also equipped with 2 tethers, in case you want to put 2 small breeds in the basket. These tethers ensure that your dog can't jump out if the cover isn't zipped closed.
You'll also notice that there is plenty of ventilation when the cover is closed. The front is made of plastic of mesh, and there are small mesh windows on the front, back and top of cover. The cover is also water resistant in the event that you get stuck in the rain.
While it has a lot of benefits, this stroller also has one big drawback. You can purchase the IBIYAYA Lightweight Dog Stroller on Amazon for $169. While you can find dog strollers for less than $50, they are not good quality and therefore cannot support much weight. Cheaper strollers can typically only hold dogs weighing 15-20 pounds.
You can find larger strollers that can hold dogs weighing more than 40 pounds, but they aren't as lightweight as this one. Basically, what I'm trying to say is that this stroller is a good value for the money even though it's a bit more expensive. It offers a durable frame that can support a medium-sized dog while still being light enough to carry around easily.
