  • 4 lbs. pork
  • 1 large sweet potato
  • 1 large apple (cored)
  • 2 large carrots
  • 1 cup kale (shredded)
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup rice
  • 1.5 cups water

I make this recipe in my pressure cooker, but you could also use a slow cooker. The only difference is that you will need to cook it longer in a slow cooker.

Add all of the ingredients to the crock pot in the order that they are listed above. Secure the lid of your pressure cooker and cook on high pressure for 60 minutes. If you are using a slow cooker instead, add all of the ingredients in the order listed above and cook on low for 4-5 hours.

When the recipe is finished cooking, it will be easy to mix all of the ingredients together and shred the pork in the process. Once the food has cooled you can feed it to your dog.

If you decide to make this recipe in bulk, you can also freeze it for up to 3 months. The recommended serving size is about 1/2 cup for every 15-20 pounds of body weight.
