These homemade dog biscuits are made with limited ingredients. With just 5 ingredients, these are ideal for dogs with a sensitive stomach or food allergies. You can make substitutions for any of the ingredients if your dog requires it.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2.5 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup chicken or beef stock
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup bacon (chopped)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350˚F.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, beef stock, egg, cream cheese and bacon. Mix and work the recipe until it forms a thick dough.

As you’ll see in my video guide above, I make small patties with the dough and place them on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. You could also roll the dough onto a floured surface until it’s about 1/4″ thick. Cut the dough into small pieces with cookie cutters or a pizza cutter, and bake the treats on a well greased or parchment paper lined cookie sheet.

You could also roll the dough into 1″ balls and flatten them on the cookie sheet to make a simple, round biscuit. No matter what shape you make them, bake the biscuits for about 20-30 minutes. You’ll know they are done when the tops are cracked and the bottoms turn a golden brown color.
