Home Dog Supplies Reviews Review: BingoPaw Memory Foam Dog Bed with Bolster

Review: BingoPaw Memory Foam Dog Bed with Bolster

Most people don't think of their bed as one of their favorite possessions, but it's different for dogs. You dog's bed is his oasis. It's his own personal space to rest and relax without being bothered (at least it should be). Beds, like the BingoPaw Memory Foam Dog Bed, are built with your pet's comfort in mind.

If you think that any soft material will make a good bed for your dog, you're wrong. As with any commercial product, you get what you pay for when it comes to pet beds. Cheap beds stuffed with poly-fil will go flat in just a few months.

Orthopedic dog beds made with memory foam and other high quality materials are 3-4 times more expensive than the cheap alternatives. But, they'll pay off in the long run. These beds will last for YEARS, not months. Instead of replacing a cheap bed over and over again, I would definitely recommend purchasing a higher quality bed that will provide more comfort and support for your pet.

So, how has the BingoPaw Memory Foam Dog Bed held up with my three dogs? We've been using the bed for a few months now, and it's not showing any signs of flattening or damage. Find out more about the bed in this detailed review.

BingoPaw Memory Foam Dog Bed with Bolster

BingoPaw Memory Foam Dog BedThis dog bed features a bolster, memory foam and a soft, comfy cover. If you notice that your dog tries to find a place to sleep where she can rest her head on a pillow or armrest, you should choose a bolster bed. A bolster bed is also a good choice for dogs that like to stretch out. The bolster gives her something to press up against and prevents her from falling off of the bed.

As you can see in the first few seconds of my video review above and all of my photos, my dogs love this bed. The base of the bed is made of a large piece of 4″-thick foam. The bolster comes in separate pieces, which make it easy to remove them to wash the cover.

This is a very important feature that I look for whenever I purchase a pet bed. The cover of the BingoPaw Memory Foam Dog Bed is machine washable, and easily zips on and off. This is a must have for me, because I wash the cover of our dogs' beds weekly. Between dirt, dander and shed hair, dog beds should be cleaned on a regular basis.

As you'll see my video review above, our dogs love the faux fur cover of this bed. There is also an interior waterproof liner to protect the orthopedic foam from getting ruined if your pup has an accident.

BingoPaw Memory Foam Dog Bed

The BingoPaw Memory Foam Dog Bed is available in 5 sizes:

  • Medium – 32″L x 24″W x 7″H
  • Large – 39″L x 30″W x 7.4″H
  • XL – 47″L x 35″W x 8″H
  • 2XL – 53″L x 39″W x 9″H
  • 3XL – 57″L x 47″W x 10″H

The bed featured in my review is a ‘XL' size. Another thing to mention is the height measurements listed above do include the bolster. So, the sleep surface is 3-6 inches shorter than the height listed above.

The only color available right now is the bluish/grey color that you see in this review. It would be nice to have other color options, but the neutral color does blend nicely with any home's decor.

I'm quite pleased with the bed overall. It's not made with the highest quality materials, but they are good quality. I have no doubt that this bed will last my dogs for 2-3 years.

The foam is holding its shape nicely so far, after a few months of use. Similarly, our dogs like to scratch and nest before lying down, but the cover shows no signs of wear at this time.

Beds made with higher quality foam are guaranteed up to 10 years, but they also sell for hundreds of dollars. Thankfully, the BingoPaw Memory Foam Dog Bed is much more affordable. Depending on the size that you choose, these beds are currently selling on Amazon for $41.99-$129.99.
