Who doesn't love peanut butter? Well, not everyone does. If your dog can't have peanut butter or just doesn't like the flavor, try my best dog birthday cake recipe that does not include this ingredient.
Birthday cakes are a fun way to celebrate your pooch. You don't even have to know Fido's birthday to have a celebration. You could bake your dog a treat for his adoption day, gotcha day, or just any special day for your family.
I love spoiling my dogs, and part of that special treatment is offering variety in their diet. My dogs love peanut butter, but they get that flavor quite often in their treats and homemade dog food. This best dog birthday cake recipe gives them a unique flavor combination of coconut and blueberry.
My Best Dog Birthday Cake Recipe Without Peanut Butter
You can always purchase commercial dog cake mixes (like Vanilla Puppy Cake or Pumpkin Puppy Cake) and frosting products that are safe for dogs. But personally, I prefer the satisfaction of making the dog cake myself, and my dogs enjoy the fresh ingredients. Plus, a homemade dog cake is made with fresh, healthy ingredients and an extra serving of love!
