I recently ran into a problem trying to find a sweater for a new rescue dog that we adopted. It was difficult to find a type of dog sweater that was thick, warm and made from high quality materials. I started looking into the fabrics used in most dog clothing, and was really disappointed with the quality of the garments for the price.
Coincidentally, for this week’s episode, I am chatting with someone who knows a few things about this area – Ivy Higa, a like-minded fashion designer who recently launched a pet clothing company, Bespoke Paws. You may recognize the name Ivy Higa from Season 8 of Project Runway. She has been working in the fashion industry for over a decade, and is now bridging that passion with her love of pets.
