All pet owners love to give their dog treats. It makes your pup happy, which makes you happy. But, it's important to feed a high-quality treat that will benefit their health. As the name suggests, these are dog treat mixes. All the dry ingredients are there, so all you have to do is add water and/or cooking oil. In my video review above I demonstrate just how easy it is to whip up a batch of these dog treat mixes.

- Peanut Chia with Oats
- Peanut Chia (Grain Free)
- Pumpkin
The Peanut Chia with Oats contain only ‘good' grains – no wheat or fillers. The Pumpkin recipe also includes arrowroot to help support digestion.
Once you make the dough, it is safe for your dog to consume as long as you refrigerate it. The raw dough makes an ideal treat for dogs with dental issues. You can also form the dough in small balls around medication to create your own pill pockets.
As I demonstrate in my video review, I like to slightly under-bake the treats. This keeps them from becoming too crunchy. Our dogs prefer a softer treat, but if you under-bake them you must refrigerate them to prevent spoiling.
These dog treat mixes are easy to make and affordable on any budget. Depending on the flavor, 1 package of mix sells for $10-$12 on the company's website. One package makes about 24 treats, if you keep them about the size of a half dollar.
You can save a little bit of money if you sign up for Incentive Food's subscription program. Making homemade dog treats would be cheaper than buying these dog treat mixes, but it's not as convenient. All-in-all, I think these mixes are a good value for the money.
