When you’re on the go with your dog, it can be a hassle to carry around dog food, water, bowls, and all the other accessories that your pet may need. However, it is also critical that you have some dog supplies on hand while you’re traveling, and food and water are two of those necessities.
Now, Dexas, a company known for its home and kitchen products, has created the Snack DuO for dogs, which helps pet owners keep these supplies on hand without the added aggravation of juggling multiple containers.
Dexas mentioned that this product is the first reusable pet hydration bottle available on the market that has two side-by-side chambers. It can keep cool water and dry crunchy kibble in the same container and even comes with the Collapsible Companion Cup for easy feeding. The best part about this product is that you get all of this, and it still fits in the cup holder of your car!

The two compartments each have their own lid configuration. There is a water-tight cap on the beverage compartment and a wide-mouth snap-on lid that covers the snack compartment. The collapsible cup is easily attached with a carabiner clip.
The container is made with Tritan copolyester material, which has set the standard in the industry for hydration bottles. The Tritan material is known for its safety, clarity, and high-impact durability. It is BPA-free and dishwasher-safe as well.
The Snack DuO is so innovative and fills such a need with pet owners that it has been scooping up awards since its debut. Recently, it claimed top honors during the New Product Showcase at the Global Pet Expo, the industry’s largest trade show.
It was not only named “Best in Show” but also took first place in the extremely competitive dog category for new product introductions. There were over 925 total entries in the competition, and the dog category accounted for more than 500 of them.

The product was also named a finalist recently in the IHA Innovation Awards. These awards are held every year at the International Home and Housewares Show in Chicago. The Snack DuO was one of five finalists in the pet products category.
The Snack Duo took homeowners at the SuperZoo trade show in Las Vegas earlier this year as well. The show is sponsored by the World Pet Association. Dexas received the second place award for Best New Product for Dogs for their creation.
The Snack DuO can hold up to 12 ounces of liquid and 1.5 cups of dry kibble. It comes in three colors and can be purchased at online retailers and local and chain pet stores, including PetSmart, Petco, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Cabela’s.
