Dublin Dog No Stink Dog Collar Review
So, as the name suggests, these collars are specifically designed to not retain odors or bacteria.
They are made of a woven polyester strap encased in a waterproof urethane coating with a tough liquid polymer top layer.
In layman's terms, it is a non-porous material, so no there is nowhere for odor-causing bacteria to fester.
Dublin Dog claims that these collars are 100% waterproof and do not retain any dirt or odors.
Our dogs have been wearing the collars daily for the last 2 months, and so far, they have not developed a smell.
They have gotten dirty from time to time, but they are super easy to clean. The Dublin Dog No Stink Collar can be hand washed with warm water and a mild soap.
I just used dish soap to remove the dirt from the collars, and it came right off.
Since they are made of a non-porous material, no dry time is required after washing.
I have to say that the hardware on this collar is some of the best that I have seen.
You can see it in the photo of our Beagle, Molly, above. It is brass with a brushed satin finish, and it's very aesthetically appealing.
Not only does the Dublin Dog No Stink Collar look good, but it's also incredibly strong!
The company claims this collar has a 1200-pound pull strength, which is strong enough to tow a full-size pickup truck.
Now, I didn't perform this test myself, but here's a video that shows it is possible:
The Dublin Dog No Stink Collar is designed and assembled in the United States. It is available in 3 sizes:
- Small – fits dogs with a neck circumference of 11″-14″ (width of .625″)
- Medium – fits dogs with a neck circumference of 12.5″-17″ (width of 1″)
- Large – fits dogs with a neck circumference of 17″-21.5″ (width of 1″)
The No Stink Collar is also available in many colors and patterns. The one featured in my review is the ‘olive green.' Other color options include black, green, red, pink, and blue.
Dublin Dog also makes a KOA series of collars.
The one pictured to the left on our Labrador, Saddie, is from this collar line.
This one is in the pattern Red Snapper. These collars have all the same features as the No Stink collar, and they also have UV inhibitors to prevent fading or yellowing.
KOA collars come in a variety of patterns that are themed around the outdoors. Some options include Blue Fly, Brown Trout, and Mahi Mahi.

The price depends on the size and color option that you choose.
As far as dog collars go, these are more than double the price of traditional nylon collars.
However, for the unique features they offer, I still think they are a good value for the money.
