A Colorado rescue organization posted news about an adoption, and it went so viral that it broke the internet.
When Susie’s Senior Dogs shared the news that a senior dog with cancer, Donuts, had just been adopted, people rejoiced – namely, women. Donuts’ adopter is Matt Evans, a young hot guy from Denver.
Donuts, who is 9-years old, was diagnosed with cancer while residing at the Ark-Valley Humane Society in Buena Vista, Colorado. Shelter employees begged the public to find someone to adopt Donuts, no matter how limited his time was.
Susie’s Senior Dogs is an organization which promotes the senior dogs available in the Colorado region. They posted the sad news about Donuts, and Matt came to save the day soon afterward.
That story would have been popular regardless of the adopter. But because the hero is so handsome, women’s hearts could not help but throb to the beat of this story.
When Susie’s Senior Dogs shared a photo of the new father-and-son pair, the post soon got flooded with comments about Matt, his good looks, and his “adoptability.”

“Is he taking girlfriend applications?!”

While many women kept it pretty simple with a remark on Matt’s great looks, a few others elaborated on the reason behind the sentiments:
“I think Matt and Donut are exactly what a lot of women are looking for. God bless you Matt and thanks for adopting this sweet pup and loving him the rest of his life no matter how long. Happy life you two.”
“Whoa, a good looking guy that cares about dogs? Thank you, Matt!! You are an awesome human and Donuts is lucky to have you as you are lucky to have Donuts! Also, I'm pretty sure if you aren't already taken, there is a line of ladies (myself included) on here that would love to meet you, at least that's the word on the street.”
“Lol, I agree too with all the ladies! You're very handsome! A man who takes such a beautiful dog in must have the most beautiful heart! Let me know if you're available too!”
To women who love animals, there is nothing more attractive than a hot guy who demonstrates the selflessness and nurturing devotion it takes to adopt a sick and ailing animal. To a woman, this indicates that the guy in question would likely carry this caring nature over to his human relationships as well.
When Matt Evans was asked about the experience, he expressed amusement. He said the comments on the photo were unexpected and flattering – as well as some being a bit “over the top.” He actually had to disable his comments because his mother was able to see some which were bordering on inappropriate!
When asked about Donuts, Matt remarked that while he is old, he is a great dog who is full of life. Donuts got his name because of his big love for treats.
Matt is single, lives in Denver, and is getting his MBA at CU-Boulder.
Donuts had a cancerous tumor which needed to be removed. After the tumor is gone, the cancer should be gone, too! Now that that’s done, Donuts can go on to live out the rest of his life happily with his incredible new dad.
