Home Dog Supplies Reviews Review: All Absorb Puppy Pee Pads

Review: All Absorb Puppy Pee Pads

There's no way to avoid puppy accidents. No matter how closely you watch your new addition or how many times you take him out during the day, your little Fido is sure to have a few accidents before he's fully house trained.

The best way to protect your floors is by investing in high-quality puppy pee pads. They are specifically designed to absorb urine and prevent leaks. The best puppy pee pads also use odor blocking technology so your home doesn't end up smelling like urine.

HONEY CARE All-Absorb, Large 22" x 23", 100 Count, Dog and Puppy Training Pads, Ultra Absorbent and Odor Eliminating, Leak-Proof 5-Layer Potty Training Pads with Quick-Dry Surface, Blue, A01 No matter how diligent and consistent you are with the potty training process, these pee pads from All Absorb will come in handy. They can be used inside crates, under dog beds and to create a designated potty area when you're out of the house.

These types of pee pads are the most common. They are affordable and easy to use. Unlike larger indoor dog potties that consist of artificial turf and drainage bins, these thin pads are great for traveling.

As you’ll see in my video review, these pads are made with multi-layer technology that traps the urine and blocks odors. Choosing pee pads with odor blockers is especially important if you don't want your house to stink.

You'll also notice that these pads have a plastic border. It helps to reduce the risk of overflowing urine. The biggest benefit of these training pads is the interior core that locks in liquids and turns them to gel, further reducing the chance of leaks.

The company claims that these pads will hold up to 3 cups of liquid, but as you'll see in my video review they can hold 2 times that much!

All Absorb puppy pee pads feature a quick drying top layer that keeps your pooch from tracking urine around your home. It also prevents urine from getting on your pup's paws and fur. N=If you've ever dealt with young dogs, you know that nothing is worse than a stinky puppy!

You're probably wondering if your pet would use these pads. I was skeptical too. All three of our dogs are house trained, so I didn't think they would use these pads at all. Surprisingly, our young Beagle mix did!

All Absorb Puppy Pee Pad Review

I set the pad on the floor and kept putting our Beagle on them at random times throughout the day. One day while I was away from home she used the pad to urinate, and then she began using them at night sometimes.

I couldn't believe she took to them so quickly. All Absorb puppy potty pads have a built in attractant that your dog can smell but you can't. I can't promise that it will attract your dog, but it sure worked with our Beagle.

These puppy pads measure 22″ X 23″. They are good size for puppies and small breeds, but if you have a large dog these pee pads may not be the best choice. Most owners buy products like these to house train their puppies, but some buy them for senior dogs that have incontinence issues.

If you have a larger breed, it's best to purchase pee pads that are specifically designed for large dogs – they're more expensive, but they're worth it!

HONEY CARE All-Absorb, Large 22" x 23", 100 Count, Dog and Puppy Training Pads, Ultra Absorbent and Odor Eliminating, Leak-Proof 5-Layer Potty Training Pads with Quick-Dry Surface, Blue, A01 Small dogs can fit on these pads and won't have to worry about aiming. Large breeds will have to stand over the pads, and they may not get all of their urine within the boundaries of the pad.

You can purchase a 100-count box of All Absorb puppy pee pads on Amazon for $19.98. This is about average for pee pads of the same quality. In fact, most puppy potty pads offer very similar features, but be cautious about the ones you choose.

When shopping for pee pads for your pooch, look for these four features:

  • Appropriate size for your pet
  • Odor neutralization
  • Leak-proof technology
  • Built in attractant

How to housetrain a dog?

In it I give tips on how to train your puppy or adult dog to go to the bathroom outside. The process is the same no matter how old your dog is, but it can take longer to train an older dog that has already developed bad habits.
